Inside the home of Creative Director, Pip Edwards
Co-Founder of P.E Nation, Creative Director and friend of MILOU MILOU, Pip Edwards is an inspiring and effervescent force.
Pip lives colourfully and boldly and her women's activewear brand, P.E Nation, is an extension of her own life - active streetwear for an urban life, lived at fast pace.
A recent move from her beloved Bondi to a bigger space in Rose Bay has seen Pip finding comfort in her new home, working furiously to 'Pippify' it with colour, creativity and individuality. Here, we chat with our friend about her daily rituals, her favourite space in her house and how colour impacts her life.

How do you begin and end your days?
I begin my day with a coffee in the backyard and I end my day with liquorice tea on the couch.
You've recently moved into a new home, which is your favourite room and why?
I’m still feeling my way through my new home as I’m renovating parts of it during this lockdown period and it's taking quite a while. But my brand new kitchen is making a pretty bold statement with its black and white marble features and the second room I’m working on and loving is my bedroom. I'm making a custom bedhead and tiling the balcony off my room in a beautiful and unique tri colour check design. Exciting times. Watch this space.
How is colour important to you and how does it impact your life?
Colour is everything to me and how I feel. It’s a very important part of my business, creativity and my general energy. I love playing with colour – tone on tone and clashing colours and coming up with new colour combinations and palettes to feel.
Your brand P.E Nation is doing great things in the sustainable space, what do you hope for the future of sustainability within the fashion industry?
Our sustainable journey has been a long one, and one we are very proud of – almost 90% of our activewear is now sustainable and we are taking this stance even further, working on all aspects from supply chain, carbon footprint, fabric innovation and encouraging our staff to live a more sustainable life. The ultimate goal is to achieve B Corp status. Putting sustainability first, protecting our people and planet is a non-negotiable for us, and should be addressed by all in the same way.

More candles less lighting, use less energy, shop your own wardrobe, bring back a little vintage and find life in your old favourites, go paperless, grow your veggies and herbs, and obviously, recycle.
