What does 'Zero Waste' really mean?
At MILOU MILOU, we have a deep love for Mother Nature, which explains our love affair with linen.
Inherently respectful of our planet, linen is a wonder fibre, using far less water and no chemicals when compared to cotton and it's naturally biodegradable too.

Zero waste means nothing ends up in landfills, water systems, or our atmosphere.
To do this, we have streamlined our production and manufacturing to ensure nothing is wasted in the creation of the things we add to our lives, encouraging the re-design and re-use of all parts of a product.
It's about deep consideration for the earth and being as friendly and resourceful as possible.
In itself, there's virtually no waste in the cultivating of our flax plant with almost all parts used in one way or another.
We enhance these medal-worthy qualities by using deadstock or end-of-line fabrics.
In essence, we don't create more fabric to create your dream linen - it's lovingly made using material that would otherwise end up in landfills.

What's more, each MM colour is of limited supply, enhancing its special nature and exclusive appeal.
